25 October 2025: The Parish Church of St Laurence has served the people of Frodsham for over eight hundred years through acts of worship, pastoral care, charitable giving and community service. Its vision is to be “the church of everyday, with something for everyone”, offering a welcoming, warm, safe space to all.

25 October 2025: By kind permission of the Warburton Family the 99th Cheshire Ploughing & Hedge Laying Match was held at Hatley Farm, Frodsham on Wednesday 24th September 2025.
25 October 2025: Many of us grew up eating meat every day but evidence now shows that eating less meat and dairy food is better both for our own health and for our planet. The United Nations states that, “our food systems generate one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions” and encourages us to eat more plant-based foods to reduce our individual carbon footprint and impact on the Earth.
25 October 2025: After serving 46 years with the Library Service, Jenny Evans, Senior Customer Service Rep retired on 4th October. She is a well known and very popular member of the community, welcoming and assisting locals with her knowledge and warm and cheery approach.
25 October 2025: Frodsham's market status dates back to 1279 when King Edward I granted rights to a weekly market and two annual Fairs. The market eventually lapsed, but was re-established in 1661.
